Siemens Technology-To-Business (TTB) Center, China (under Siemens AG) has an immediate need
for a results-driven, extremely inquisitive, quick learner who is passionate about innovation to join its
Shanghai-based campus. The ideal candidate has an MBA with 2-3 years of work experience with a
background in consulting, project management, marketing, strategy, business analysis, and/or
technology writing while having exposure to industries such as industrial automation, bio-tech,
electronics manufacturing, energy, and/or medical. We are looking for someone with exceptional
business acumen who can perform detailed business analysis related to market/competitor/product
research as required by our projects. The candidate must also possess enough technical knowledge
to effectively develop and modify the various types of documentation required such as presentations
to senior management, summaries of new technologies, process and procedure documentation,
online/print marketing materials, reports, etc.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: – Perform in-depth market/competitor/product/technology research/analysis and lead these projects.
– Conduct business due diligent for proposed new technology
– Conceptualize and help implement new technology scouting strategies.
– Work with scientists/engineers to understand the new technology and compose required documents.
– Challenge the proposed technology by asking critical & investigative questions.
– Effectively present to all levels of the organization
– Review, edit, and proofread material written by others.
Education/Skills Requirements: – MBA required. Bachelor’s degree from a top 4-year university in Business, Journalism,
Communications, English, Science or Engineering.
– Maximum of 2-3 years of work experience post MBA. This is not a managerial position.
– Creative problem solving; strong critical thinking, abstracting and strategic thinking skills; detail
oriented.
– Must have strong time management and organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize.
– Excellent Chinese and English communication skill, both written and verbal
– Must write in a simple, concise and accurate manner.
– High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel).
