剑桥教授带你探秘莫高窟
莫高窟是祖国西北的一颗明珠。从1900年起，在离敦煌不远的莫高窟出土了大量的珍贵手稿，藏经洞里的文献以及画作也引起了学者和公众的广泛关注。莫高窟蕴藏大量的壁画，这些壁画蕴含着几百年间积累下来的罕见图像资料。
剑桥学联名家讲坛很荣幸邀请到剑桥大学东亚系的Galambos教授来分享他对敦煌艺术的专业知识和研究成果。本次讲座中，Galambos教授将主要关注9至10世纪之间的壁画，并展示这些壁画是如何与同期的手稿有着千丝万缕的联系。

【Cambridge CSSA】Cambridge Professor reveals the wonders of the Mogao Caves near Dunhuang
The Mogao Caves is one of China’s great wonders. Since the discovery of a hoard of manuscripts in the Mogao Caves near Dunhuang in 1900, the documents and paintings from the library cave have been at the forefront of both scholarly and public interest. In addition, the caves themselves contain a large quantity of murals with a vast amount of visual material accumulated over many centuries. CSSA has the pleasure to invite Cambridge’s very own Dr Galambos to share his expertise on Dunhuang art. The talk will focus on paintings from the 9th-10th centuries and it will show how they are related to manuscripts from the same period.

【Guest Speaker】Dr Galambos currently teaches at the faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies. Before taking up his post in Cambridge, he had worked on the International Dunhuang Project at the British Library for ten years.
