学联主席致辞 Words from the President
剑桥中国学生学者联谊会（下简称剑桥学联）成立于1984年，是英国成立时间最早、规模最大、影响力最大的学联之一。剑桥学联是注册于剑桥大学的非政治、非宗教、非盈利的自治性学生学者团体。第二十七届剑桥学联拥有执行委员24位，下设11个职能部门，参与各部门工作的部长和部员人次达近百人，服务对象为在剑桥地区的中国学生学者群体。
剑桥学联的主要宗旨不止于服务学生学者的基本需求，帮助他们丰富课余生活，解决生活困难，联系英国社会；同时，剑桥学联也立足于剑桥大学，为传播中国文化、加强东西方文化交流和两国教育合作做出贡献。剑桥学联每年组织上百次的活动，包括文艺晚会、高端论坛、就业讲座、旅游活动、文化论坛、体育比赛等等。
近些年来，中国的快速发展吸引了大量海外学子回国发展，为有意回国就业创业为国服务的剑桥学生学者提供支持和帮助也成为了剑桥学联工作的一个重点。

The Chinese Students & Scholars Association in Cambridge (CSSA-Cambridge), founded in 1984, is one of the oldest, largest, and most influential CSSAs in UK. CSSA-Cambridge is an official Cambridge University recognised non-profit and non-political organisation which consists of more than 20 committee members, 11 functional divisions with nearly a hundred volunteers.
The main mission of our organisation is to serve the needs of the Chinese students and scholoars in the Cambridge region, and provide opportunities and benefits for them by facilitating the exchange of information between China and the students studying abroad, and by encouraging cultural exchange among Chinese, British and other people. To achieve our mission, CSSA-Cambridge regularly organises activities such as trips, parties, sports matches, and seminars on a variety of topics, including academic exchange and career development, as well as to promote Chinese culture with various arts, music, and sports groups. Besides these activities, we also organise several large-scale events, including our annual Chinese New Year Gala, Chinese Culture Festival, and Cambridge Development Study Forum. Recently, more and more students and scholars would like to go back to China after their study and work abroad, CSSA-Cambridge also would like to support and help those who want to find a job or create their own business in China.
