本届论坛主题为“新兴科技的崛起与社会经济的未来”，将邀请中英两国政学商等各界领袖，旨在促进对全球科学、技术与创新前沿的深入讨论，并评估其将给两国乃至世界经济与社会发展带来的深刻影响。同时，会议议程采用跨文化交流机制，以应对广泛存在的政策协调难题，加速推进两国在各领域的创新合作。
The theme for the 2019 China-UK Innovation & Development Forum is ‘Emerging technologies and the future of economy and society’. This year’s forum aims to facilitate discussions on the most recent developments in science, technology and innovation, and its impact on economic and social development, among policy makers, academics and business leaders in China and the UK. Discussions during the meeting will also aim at tackling a wide range of issues in policy in order to address challenges in the development and fostering of cooperation between UK-China innovation through intercultural dialogue.
