文化部作为学联文化交流的核心部门，负责策划并组织学联各类文化活动，致力于促进剑桥中国学生学者与国内外著名人士在政治、经济和文化等方面的交流。同时文化部也带领剑桥的学生学者们探索英国的历史文化。
部门的核心活动包括名家讲坛，音乐剧欣赏，英国名胜与博物馆之旅，以及中西方文化交流一系列活动。名家讲坛是文化部的常规活动，每年会有大量的艺术家、经济学家以及政治学家等来到剑桥开设讲座，如去年邀请到的经济学教授薛兆丰等。博物馆参观与音乐剧欣赏则为留英学生学者提供了近距离接触英国传统文化的平台。此外，一系列中西文化交流活动，包括书法教学，品酒以及Giorgio Armani化妆教学，也丰富学生学者的课外活动，加深对中西文化的认识。
CSSA Culture Division is responsible for providing a friendly interface between Chinese and non-Chinese students and scholars in the diverse fields of politics, economy and culture, as well as organizing cultural tours to explore British history and traditions.
The main activities of the division include academic workshops, musicals, museum tours, and a series of activities promoting Chinese and Western cultural exchanges. Academic workshop is a regular activity, inviting experts from various fields in politics, art and economy to the University of Cambridge to open up dialogues in various fields such as art, politics and economy, such as Prof. Zhaofeng Xue, an economics professor invited last year. Museum tours and musical appreciation provide platform for Chinese students and scholars to get close to traditional British culture. In addition, a series of cultural exchange activities, including calligraphy teaching, wine tasting and Giorgio Armani makeup tutorials, also enrich the range of extracurricular activities, deepening understanding between East and West.
