在2014年11月的第一日，剑桥大学King’s College迎来了国内知名的葫芦丝演奏家、丝恋乐坊创始人张贺老师以及王娟老师。在近两个小时的演奏会中，张贺老师及王娟老师演奏了动人的葫芦丝传统曲目以及改编歌曲，展示了葫芦丝艺术的强大的活力与生命力。演奏会结束后，部分听众有幸成为了现场学员，在老师的带领下学习吹奏了《菊花台》的部分章节。学习结束后，2位学员主动登台演奏，并获得了张贺夫妇的专辑作为奖品。最后，所有学员登台和张贺夫妇拍照留念。
On the first day of November 2014, the well-known Chinese traditional musical instrument Hulusi master Mr He Zhang and Mrs Juan Wang, who are also the founders of Si Lian Music Studio, came to King’s College and brought a melodious and joyful Hulusi show. They performed a few conventional Hulusi songs and some self-adapted Hulusi tracks in the nearly 2-hour stage show. After the show, audiences were guided by He Zhang and Juan Wang to learn the chapter of ‘Chrysanthemums Terrace’ from zero previous experience. In the end, 2 learners stood up onto the stage and performed the taught chapter smoothly. Also as a reward, each of them were given a CD by the Hulusi musician and a photograph was taken in memory of this wonderful and unforgettable experience.
